Oral Examination
We recommend regular exams at least every six months. By doing so, we can check for problems that you might not feel or see; we can find early signs of decay and treat it before it gets to a point where treatment might require further steps and more expense.
Oral Cancer Screening
When a patient comes for an oral examination, an oral cancer screening is done at the same time. A visual and tactile screening of your face, neck, lips and mouth is done to check any alteration in its appearance. Any changes could be a warning sign for a pathological process. The most serious of these is oral cancer. The exam is non-invasive and can be accomplished quickly in a few minutes.
Routine Cleanings
Daily brushing and flossing will keep dental calculus to a minimum but a professional cleaning will remove calculus in places that your toothbrush and dental floss have missed. We will recommend a cleaning schedule according to your personal needs.
Digital X-Rays
Our digital tooth imaging technology exposes you to a 90% less radiation than traditional X-rays. It eliminates the need for toxic development chemical and films that are released into the environment. Screen images can be zoomed in, aiding diagnostics and improving patient communication.
